Helloooo chocolate addicts, I got something for you! Healthy and protein-rich brownies, sounds awesome, right?
IT IS! This Sunday I decided to get out my baking skills again and try something new. What came out were these absolutely beautiful looking brownies (or well, brownie muffins), they might just be the prettiest thingies I’ve ever made!
I started with the banana bread recipe from healthy fans and gave it my own twist! They taste absolutely amazing, the nutritional value is perfect and they are very filling!
what do you need? (serves 8)
- 3 bananas
- 2 scoops of chocolate whey
- 50g almond flour
- 80g ultra fine oats
- 3 eggs
- 6 Medjool dates pitted
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- optional: 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
- optional: 1/2cup of walnuts, in pieces
Preheat the oven at 180°C. Blend the bananas, the eggs, and the dates until smooth. In a large bowl, stir up the almond flour, chocolate whey, ultra-fine oats, and baking powder. pour the banana mixture in the bowl and stir really well until it’s smooth. If you want to add the chocolate chips and/or nuts. Spray your baking tin with cooking spray and pour in the mixture. Put it in the oven for approximately 45 minutes.
Delicious with a little (or in my case, a lot of) melted peanut butter on top!
